Banff Caribou Lodge
– One of Top Banff Lodges
Banff Caribou Lodge is one of my favorite Banff Lodges. We stayed in both loft suite and superior room at different times. It is very comfortable and reasonably priced with log furniture and rustic design. We love to sit by the fireplace in the lobby and enjoy the smell of burning wood.
What the loft suite impressed us is that the fantastic snow-capped mountain view through the huge window. I remember that I really enjoyed the mountain view even when I laid on the bed.

The superior room (higher than standard room) we choose has a balcony. In morning, we like to us to sit outside, enjoy the beautiful scenery with tea.
The beds are really comfortable. we were never waken up by noise at night because the lodge is not right in the downtown party of Banff.
The location of the lodge might not be an ideal for you if you want to stay in the center of downtown. But it only takes you around 10 minutes of easy walking (along the side walk) to the center of downtown. If you are not in a walking mood, you can take the bus with a complimentary bus pass that is offered by the hotel.
Banff Caribou Lodge is good place for families to stay. Kids (16 years old and younger) stay free when occupying the parent or guardian’s room, using existing bedding.
If you are skiing lover, this is really great place for skiing holiday. The ski shuttle takes you from the door of the lodge to any of three skiing resorts (Sunshine Village, Norquay Ski Resort, Lake Louise Ski Resort). There is a ski hub desk in lobby. There is also an underground locker for your ski gear.
Having the Keg Steakhouse attached to the hotel is an added bonus, and they also offer room service for all meals. The food are very good.
The lodge offers free underground parking and WIFI internet.
As well the Red Earth Spa is reasonably priced with personalized services.
If you want to be away from the busy town of Banff but still close enough to walk to the town, this lodge is an excellent choice.
